TROY, Mich., Feb. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- ArvinMeritor, Inc. (NYSE: ARM)
announced today that Jerry Rush, senior director for the company's Government
Affairs and Community Relations, has been named president of Michigan's
Automation Alley. During his two-year term, Rush will preside over the
Automation Alley Board of Directors and have oversight responsibilities for
the executive committee.

Rush, who has served on Automation Alley's Board of Directors for four
years, joined ArvinMeritor in 1977. He has served as director, Federal and
State Government Relations, for Rockwell International's Automotive and
Automation businesses and was based in Rockwell's Washington, D.C., office.
In his current position, Rush champions congressional, federal, state and
local government relations for ArvinMeritor. Rush also manages all grassroots
actions, directs industry association involvement, and leads community and
philanthropic activities. Rush also serves on a number of industry, business,
civic and educational committees, directs regional government affairs for the
National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) and chairs the Motor and Equipment
Manufacturers Association (MEMA) Governmental Affairs Council.
